Buffy Summers comes to town after discovering the trouble that Angel is in. She meets Connor and presents him with a mysterious medallion she was instructed to give him in one of her psychic Slayer dreams. When the medallion brings out the Destroyer, however, she has to wonder where the dream really came from. Buffy helps interrogates Drusilla and learns more of the Gathering's plans. Then she accompanies Angel on his trip to Brazil to be treated by shaman healers. Upon her return to L.A., she is kidnapped by the Gathering.

Status: Last seen with Spike, being chased by demons through the tunnels beneath the Gathering mansion.
