Status: Faith quit the Slayer Council and become a rogue Slayer again in response to a lack of respect she felt from Giles and Buffy (Though This Be Madness). Her decision didn't effect her determination to investigate the mysterious demon cult she discovered in L.A., however, and after the Slayers invited her back into the fold (Hotspot), Faith returned to leadership of the L.A. Slayer Council. Just in time to run into Buffy there.

They worked together to help Connor when he was under the influence of the Amulet of Bel'Iqi, and Buffy let Faith know that Faith was in charge in L.A. Now it is up to Faith to find a way to defeat the apocalyptic plans of the Gathering.

She must find a way to keep their gate to hell closed, and destroy the demons trying to bring hell back to the Earth.
