Status: Giles came to the L.A. office of the Slayer Council to help Gunn and the others make sense of the Prophecies of Aberjian and the Nyazian Scroll. When he found out Faith was hiding a huge library of material she took from the Syndicate, he came down hard on her for keeping those materials a secret from the other leaders of the Council. In response, Faith quit the Council. Giles tells Aiden he is waiting for her to see the error of that choice, and to agree to more open communication with the other Council leaders.

Faith finally comes around, and receives a gift of the Nyazian Scroll from the Nyazians as thanks for helping them return to their home dimension. Gunn takes the scroll to Giles in England, where they get to work translating it.
