Since returning from the Senior Partners' dimension where he had been trapped since the end of Angel Season 5, Gunn has been using various legal means to free Angel from his new obligation to work for the Senior Partners. He's also been trying to find a new life for himself in L.A., and believes he has found that in a law firm run by some old colleagues. He recently angered Faith when she erroneously concluded he invited Giles to L.A. to see the Syndicate library. But now's he back in her good graces again. And her fighting team. And her pants.
